Employment
I guess you may need to invest in a razor if you intend to seek gainful employment back home in little old England.

Correction
Yes Tino you are correct, I was a blurry face on GMA which is in Times Square.
The NYC subway is not overly helpful to new passengers, we did go in the wrong direction once. Dan I lent you the pocket map for NY which has a very useful subway map on the back.

Tino's"Things" 2
One could perhaps be forgiven for thinking that this comment indicates the innate self-centeredness of New Yorkers. I think, both from your comments and personal experience, London Underground is far superior on all counts.

2 Things...
1. Laura appared on "Good Morning America" which is on ABC, which is near Times Square if I'm not mistaken...
2. New Yorkers are smart enough to figure out where in the city they are based on the line they "Boearded" and the number in the wall, now if Londoners need they're exact position detailed as if it was regurgitated by GPS, (Sat-Nav) for those of you accross the pond, then that isn't our fault, is it now?

However, if you were to say that the London Underground is more "Visitor Friendly" well I couldn't really argue with that...

SHAVE!!!

Note. arseless trousers
You can not miss the 'arse-less trousers'! I think they are called Chaps actually, as worn by cowboys or Cristina Aguillera, but probably not quite in the same fluffy material!!
An interesting blog entry though, lol

Center of attention
Hi Dan I'm very behind due to work pressures, but have enoyed catching up. I remember well that wondeful feeling of being the cool Englishmen with that wicked accent tat opens a million doors. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Re: Beacon Hill
DC:

I graduated from Suffolk University there on Beacon Hill. I lived in that 50's apartment building next door with little furniture; you likely walked right past it. My professors were all Harvard grads who needed extra money and my fellow classmates were Fidelity employees from down the street trying to work their way up the ladder. The school isn't quite as prestigeous as the others you mentioned, but the Law School is quite respected in the region. I notice you didn't mention "Cheers", the most famous bar in Boston. The interior doesn't match the TV show, you would have been dissatisfied (with the interior). I never went in there because my beers were already bought and paid for and were available 24/7.

Sorry you are so put off by all the chest-beating about the "F-Word". I'd have to respond by saying that the Britain of 1776 isn't anywhere near the UK of 2008, remember when you needed our help in 1940, we didn't b*tch about you all burning down our White House in 1812 and refuse. Hopefully you can take away an appreciation for wearing our beliefs on our sleeve since if we aren't constantly reminded, we'll easily forget. I think recent events bear that out in spades.

My recruiting area was Boston, including MV and Nantucket. I never got to Provincetown. Say hello to Teddy Kennedy for me; he wrote a letter for me once.
