World's Smallest Park, Portland, OR
Oregon has some kind of reverse megalomaniac complex: they are pround to have such small features. I passed the world's smallest harbour, the world's shortest river, and now here is the world's smallest park. On the site of a would-be lamp-post, this park is the brainchild of an eccentric laprechaun-spotter, who claimes that this is the world's only leprechaun reserve outside of Ireland. He even instralled a ferris wheel in the park, using a full-sized crane to drop the miniature device into place. "Keep Portland Weird" say the bumper stickers.... too true
